Story Asher Drake, a former special forces soldier, is a controlling and obsessive man.

One day, as he heads out for work like any other day after his discharge, he loses consciousness — and when he opens his eyes, he finds himself somewhere completely unfamiliar.

His head is splitting with pain. The first things he notices are steam, churning machinery, and… a tower. Where is this place. Why is he here. And what is the tower. To find those answers, he accepts the tower’s invitation.
